Help for Teachers
Fluinto is a language practice platform designed especially for heritage language learners and diaspora communities. Teachers support learners through structured speaking practice with a focus on confidence, fluency, pronunciation, and real-life communication.
Many teachers on Fluinto work with heritage learners who may understand a language well but need more consistent speaking practice to use it naturally.
Start teaching on Fluinto
Onboarding happens inside the app from the sidebar entry.
- Sign in to your Fluinto account.
- Open “Start teaching on Fluinto” in the sidebar and fill in the form.
- We use your answers to understand how you teach.
How students arrive to you (language → teacher → chat → payment)
Students follow a clear flow before they can join speaking sessions.
- Students select a learning language first.
- They choose a teacher for that language.
- Chat unlocks after teacher selection, before payment.
- Payment and access are checked automatically at booking time.
- If a student can book your session, they already have access.
- Teachers do not manage payments or approve bookings.
Teaching model (speaking practice & continuity)
The platform emphasizes speaking confidence, fluency, and real-world communication.
- Teachers guide structured speaking practice in small sessions.
- Sessions focus on fluency, pronunciation, and confidence.
- Many learners are reconnecting with a family or community language.
- 1:1 sessions are scheduled separately from regular speaking sessions.
Stripe payout onboarding
Stripe is required to receive payouts.
- Complete onboarding in the Stripe Payout Onboarding page.
- Stripe collects payout and verification details.
- Fluinto does not hold or process your payout funds.
Monthly payouts (Stripe-handled)
Stripe handles payouts once your account is connected.
- Payouts are issued monthly for eligible sessions.
- Stripe handles transfers to your payout account.
- Your payout setup status is shown in the Teacher Dashboard.
- Check Stripe for transfer timing and payout status.
Referrals (students invited by teacher)
Referred students still follow the standard onboarding flow.
- If you invite students to Fluinto, they still select a language and teacher.
- Referred students can join your group lessons after selecting you and gaining access.
- You do not manage payment or booking approval for referred students.
Support & contact usage
Use the right channel for the right issue.
- Use chat for learning questions and lesson coordination.
- Contact support for account, access, or payout issues.

- Contact support if Stripe onboarding is blocked or restricted.
